Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using this website.

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Smart Funding Solutions website. By using this website, you agree to them.

Smart Funding Solutions Limited. Registered in England, company number 13930483. Registered office: Coworkz Business Centre, Office 37 Main Office, Minerva Avenue, Chester West Employment Park, Chester, England, CH1 4QL.

Smart Funding Solutions is a trading style of Smart Funding Solutions Limited (FRN: 972740) who are Appointed Representatives of White Rose Finance Group Ltd (FRN: 630772) who are directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Our role

Smart Funding Solutions is a commercial finance broker. We are not a lender.

We help businesses understand their funding requirements, structure applications, identify appropriate funding options and approach suitable lenders or funders on their behalf.

Any finance remains subject to status and to the relevant lender's assessment, underwriting criteria, due diligence, documentation and final approval. We do not guarantee that finance will be available or that any particular lender will make an offer.

Information on this website

The information on this website is general information only. It explains the types of commercial finance that may be available to UK businesses.

Nothing on this website is legal, tax, accounting, investment or other professional advice, or a recommendation that any particular finance product is suitable for you. Your own circumstances should always be considered before you enter into a finance agreement.

Illustrative examples

Examples, worked calculations, indicative amounts, repayment structures and descriptions of possible finance products are for illustration only. They are not a quote or an offer of finance.

Actual terms depend on factors including the applicant, business performance, credit profile, the amount and purpose of the borrowing, the sector, available security, lender appetite and underwriting requirements.

Completed transactions

Our case studies describe historic transactions that completed. Client identities are anonymised for confidentiality.

Past funding outcomes do not guarantee that the same or similar funding will be available to another applicant, or on the same terms.

Enquiries and applications

Submitting an enquiry is not an application for credit and does not guarantee that funding will be available. We may ask for further information before approaching lenders.

Information you provide may be shared with lenders and funders so they can assess your funding requirement, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Credit searches

A lender or funder may carry out credit searches and other checks as part of its underwriting. Where relevant, details of those searches and the consents needed will be provided before they take place.

Our panel and market access

We consider funding options from a broad panel of lenders and funders. Availability depends on the nature of the transaction, the applicant's circumstances and lender appetite. We are not required to approach every lender in the market for every application.

Fees and commission

We may charge you a fee for our services and, in addition, the lender we introduce you to will typically pay us a commission, either as a fixed fee or as a percentage of the amount you borrow.

Lenders may pay commission at different rates and, for certain lenders, the level of commission may influence the interest rate or other pricing applicable to the finance agreement.

Our recommendation as a broker is not affected by whether or not a lender pays us commission.

If you would like further information about any commission paid to us by a lender, including the amount, please ask us in writing.

Where a client fee, broker fee, appraisal fee or commitment fee applies, this will be disclosed separately before you proceed.

Accuracy and availability of this website

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date. Commercial finance products, lender criteria, interest rates, regulation and market conditions change, so we cannot guarantee that all information will remain accurate at all times.

We aim to keep the website available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend, withdraw or change parts of it without notice.
